System
On the “System runtime control” page (
), system services can be stopped and started.
Gateway
Restart
Restarting the appliance will result in a restart (in the back-ground) of the back-end and front-end services. The time it takes for a restart depends on the performance of the system but will normally not take longer than 60 seconds.
Reboot
Rebooting the appliance will result in a full reboot of the appliance. The time it takes for a reboot depends on the performance of the system but will normally not take longer than 120 seconds.
Shutdown
Shutting down the appliance will result in power-down of the gateway.
Web Server
Restarting the Web server will result in a restart of the front-end service (Apache). This is for example needed if the TLS certificate has been replaced. The time it takes for a restart depends on the performance of the system but will normally not take longer than 10 seconds.
MTA
The MTA (Postfix) can be stopped and started.
